Joshua 5:10-12

While the sons of Israel camped at Gilgal they

observed the Passover on the evening of the

fourteenth day of the month on the desert plains

of Jericho. On the day after the Passover, on

that very day, they ate some of the produce of

the land, unleavened cakes and parched grain.

The manna ceased on the day after they had

eaten some of the produce of the land, so that

the sons of Israel no longer had manna, but

they ate some of the yield of the land of Canaan

during that year.

Deuteronomy 26:16-19 “This day Adonai your God commands you to

do these statutes and ordinances. You shall

therefore be careful to do them with all your

heart and with all your soul. You have today

declared Adonai to be your God, and that you

would walk in His ways and keep His statutes,

His commandments and His ordinances, and

listen to His voice. Adonai has today declared

you to be His people, a treasured possess-ion, as He promised you, and that you should

keep all His commandments, and that He will

set you high above all nations which He has

made, for praise, fame, and beauty, and that

you shall be a holy people to Adonai your God,

as He has spoken.”
