Time for a Smile – Happy Father’s Day to all our Dads – A young man had just gotten his learner’s permit and asked his father about the use of the car. His father took him to his study and said to him, "I'll make a deal with you. You bring your grades up, study your bible a little and get your hair cut and we'll talk about it." After about a month, the boy came back and again asked his father if they could discuss the use of the car. "Son, I've been real proud of you. You have brought your grades up, you've studied your bible diligently, but you didn't get your hair cut." The young man waited a moment and replied, "You know Dad, I've been thinking about that. Samson had long hair, Moses had long hair, Noah had long hair, and even Jesus had long hair!", to which his father replied, "Yes, you're right, and they also WALKED everywhere they went!"

NO PARKING please on brick paved area in front of the church.

STS PETER AND PAUL’S SCHOOL SENIOR LEADERS are preparing for their annual fundraising day. Money raised goes to Catholic Missions, St Vincent de Paul Bulimba chapter and the Good Samaritan Foundation. The children are looking for donations of homemade jams, chutneys and/or relishes. THE ANNUAL CATHOLIC CAMPAIGN will take place across weekend masses of the 12th and 13th September. Please take some time to prayerfully consider your support to the vital ministries of the Archdiocese.

COME TO SET US FREE CHORUS Come to set us free, Come to make us your own. Come to show the way to your people, Your chosen. Open our lives to the light of your promise. Come to our hearts with healing, come to our minds with power, come to us and bring us your life.

You are light which shines in darkness, morning star which never sets. Open our eyes which only dimly see the truth which sets us free.

CHORUS

You are strength which never fails. Open our minds to ways we do not know, But where your Spirit grows.

CHORUS

You are promise of salvation, you are God in human form. Bring to our world of emptiness and fear The Word we long to hear.
