CLASSROOM AND LIVING ROOM

Divide the class into two groups of the same number of students, A and B.

Tell the As that they must draw a picture of six objects that they can find in a classroom (e.g. book, pen, bag) using the worksheet given by the teacher.

Tell the Bs that they must draw six things which you typically find in a living room (e.g. television, sofa, bookcase) using the worksheet given by the teacher.

Give them a time limit to finish their drawings. Write a list of preposition up on the board for students to refer to.

Next, without showing their picture, group A dictates to B everything that is on their picture while B draws. Then swap roles

Finally, ask them to compare and check their drawings. Focus on the errors that students made with the prepositions.
