On the left side of your notebook: Early Colony Foldable Directions
• Put the paper flat on the table so that “Symbol to Remember” is facing up.
• Fold the outsides of the paper to the line in the center (Now the colonies should be showing).
• Cut along the dotted line on the top flap creating six flaps.• Lightly shade the outside of each flap.• On the inside of each flap, using your notes, write the reason
(economic or religious) each colony was founded, the year, and the person or group.
• Then create a symbol to help you remember information about the colony.
