The animals of the Revelation

And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain,

having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent

out into all the earth. 5:6

If we focus on beasts and dragons and miss the messages about

the Lambwe have failed to grasp the real meaning of the

Revelation.

Remember two of the keys to understanding the Revelation

The frequency of “Lamb”

37 times “Lamb” is found in the NT

31 of these occurrences are in the Revelation

30 of these times are a reference to Christ

The Lamb who conquers

On Mt. Zion with redeemed 14:1

Song of Moses and Lamb 15:3

Overcomes all enemies 17:14

Occupies spiritual temple and city 21:14, 22, 23; 22:1, 3

The Lamb of spiritual blessing
