BOOK ROLL TRANSFERSTitan has a book roll team available to assist you in book transfers. Contact your Marketing Representative for more information. Titan will also honor your book roll quote for 60 days beyond the new business effective date of a rate revision.
POINT OF SALE (POS)MVR, CLUE, SVT (Specialty Validation Tool), and VIN VerificationUse your quoting system’s web point of sale (POS) features to order your customers’ MVR/ CLUE reports, SVT, and to verify their VIN. Titan’s webPOS allows you to review all data with your customers and produce the most accurate quote possible, which reduces uprates and increases customer satisfaction and retention.
MVR CHARGEBACK RULEThis service is provided at no charge, providing 80% of the MVR’s that are run by an agency during the month converting to applications. To count as a conversion, the individual on the MVR must be listed on an application submitted within 30 days of the MVR order date.
However, if less than 80% of the MVRs convert into applications, we will charge back the cost of the MVRs ordered through the rating engine. Chargeback amounts are deducted from subsequent commission statements and a detailed report is provided for reconciliation purposes. The following is an example of the charge back calculations: If an agency runs 100 MVRs during a month, but only submits applications for 60 of them (60%). The charge back amount is the difference between the threshold (80%) and the percentage submitted (60%). In this case, the agency will be charged back for 20% of the MVRs that were run (80% - 60% = 20%)The ordering of MVRs on the web rating engine helps maximize agent ease-of-use. This feature also keeps write-backs down to a minimum, giving your agency more free time to spend on writing new business.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER DISCOVERY SVT may attempt to determine whether there are additional drivers in your customer’s household. If the report indicates that additional drivers may reside in the household, you must add or exclude the drivers, or send an explanation (via SVT notes) as to why the individual(s) are not being added. Appropriate follow-up for proof of non-residency may be undertaken by Customer Service in cases in which the individual(s) was not added or excluded from the policy causing unnecessary uprates or cancellations. If the individual(s) are excluded, you MUST complete a driver exclusion form and retain it in your agency files.
GARAGING DISCOVERY SVT may attempt to determine garaging location based on your customer’s household. If the report indicated differences in garaging versus the insured’s drivers license, you should clearly explain (via SVT notes) as to the discrepancy and a retain a copy of a recent utility bill, leasing or rental agreement, or tax/mortgage information prior to using a different address. Appropriate follow-up for proof of garaging may be undertaken by Customer Service causing unnecessary uprates or cancellations.
OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER BALANCE VERIFICATIONPOS will verify whether your customer has an outstanding balance from a previous Titan/Victoria policy. If so, your customer will have to make the initial payment in addition to paying the outstanding balance before you can sell the policy.
VIN LOOKUPOur website will give you the option of looking up vehicles by simply entering the first 10 digits of the VIN number at the top of the vehicle screen. The vehicle information will automatically be filled in both the quote screen and the application screen.
MVR RECONCILIATIONThe website will allow you to view and print an MVR reducing errors and possible uprates. To begin, simply click on the link “View MVR Report” displayed on Reports page. The MVR Report is now displayed in a new window. You also have the option to print the MVR by clicking on “Print MVR” button.
