Well if you know me you probably know what a DTS is, but for those that don’t know what a DTS is, it is the entry-level training school in Youth With A Mission. It consists of a three- month intensive lecture phase, and then about three months of outreach in a third world country. There will be speakers from around the world and every week there will be a new focus with different teachings. Some of the things that we will learn about are how to hear God’s voice, the Father heart of God, spiritual disciplines, relationships, spiritual warfare, the Holy Spirit, evangelism, identity, and the list goes on. We will also have the outreach locations revealed to us towards the end of the lecture phase. Once we get organized into teams we will prepare for outreach in which we will be ministering to communities in poverty, villages, towns, markets, probably orphanages, and we will partner with local churches and organizations to feed and serve those in need. The main focus of our outreach is to do what Jesus told us to- “Go and make disciples of all nations...” I’m really looking forward to this life-changing journey and this is something I have wanted to do since I was a little kid! I’m going to be working to earn money this Fall to pay for my school, but I will need to raise about $5000. If you could be praying for me and consider donating that would mean so much to me! Every small amount helps! God bless!

NEWSLETTER Dear Family and Friends, I hope you’re all doing spectacular.

Well it seems life is moving on and it’s a new season for me! I

just graduated high school, got into college, and started

working at a pizza restaurant. What’s next for me, you might

ask? Well its at the top of the page, so... Yeah I’m doing

a DTS with YWAM in South Africa!

This upcoming January I’m leaving for a few months to participate in a

Discipleship Training School with Youth with a Mission. Just trying to help out if

you didn’t get the acronyms in the above paragraph =). I’m going to South

Africa! That’s where I was born; isn’t that great?! Well if you know me you

probably know what a DTS is, but for those that don’t know what a DTS is, it is

the entry-level training school in Youth With A Mission. It consists of a three-

month intensive lecture phase, and then about three months of outreach in a

third world country.

speakers from around the world and every week there will be a new focus with different teachings. Some of the things

that we will learn about are how to hear God’s voice, the Father heart of God, spiritual disciplines, relationships, spiritual

warfare, the Holy Spirit, evangelism, identity, and the list goes on. We will also have the outreach locations revealed to

us towards the end of the lecture phase. Once we get organized into teams we will prepare for outreach in which we

main focus of our outreach is to do what Jesus told us to- “Go

I’m really looking forward to this life-changing journey and this is

something I have wanted to do since I was a little kid! I’m going

to be working to earn money this Fall to pay for my school, but I

will need to raise about $5000. If you could be praying for me and
