Prior to eating a meal or snack askyourself, "Where am I on the hunger &fullness scale?" Ideally you'll be betweena 3 & 4.
Halfway through your meal pause for 10 seconds & checkin with your body. Ask again,"Where am I on the scale now?"
Continue eating until you get to a6 or 7 then stop. The goal of eating is to feel good when you're done.
Eat close to your normal meal times tokeep your blood sugar steady.
Eat slowly. It takes 20 minutes foryour brain to realize that you are full.
Decide what you really love, enjoy thoseholiday foods without guilt, & move on.
Balance the rich foods withhealthy items you already love.
The Hunger-Fullness Scale is a greattool to help you mindfully connect with
your body about when to eat. Staying in amoderate range (from 3-7) will help youavoid extremes in hunger & fullness &
ultimately help you feel your best!
