Moments that Changed Your Life If I was able to go back into the fabric of your childhood and remove one moment - the first day of kindergarten, the loss of a loved one, a memorable birthday party, your first experience playing baseball - I could potentially completely alter who you are as a person. What if, without that moment, you never grew to love baseball, never tried out for the baseball team, never met your best friend? What if, without that moment, you never broke your arm falling from a bunkbed and, therefore, never developed a fear of heights? The fact of the matter is that experiences change and shape us; they make us who we are. While some moments are not as significant as others, others have informed our existence on a deep, philosophical level. What are those moments for you? Your task is to take some time and brainstorm your top five life-changing moments. Choose carefully, determining if each moment is worthy of this honor. Ask yourself Would I be the same person if this moment was removed from my history? If the answer is yes, then you probably want to move on and find another moment. Moment What happened? Why was it SO significant?
