Informal Luncheon At Palos Verdes For Friends Of College Paloa Verdes college in Rolling Hills was the scene of another in its series of pre-opening pic- nics Saturday afternoon when approximately 35 friends of the college gathered for luncheon in the summer house overlooking the campus. Hosts of the Infor- mal occasion were Dr. Richard P. Saunders, president of the new college, and Mrs. Saunders. These picnics have been held throughout the summer to allow Dr. and Mrs. Saunders to become acquainted with various groups of Southland residents who are interested in the establishment of the new institution.
