Boasting a fantastically central location and a venue with bags of history, Bow Street Tavern is the place for your next event. The pub was established in 1763 and has been witness to many historical events linked with Bow Street Runners - the first British police force. The pub was almost certainly frequented by them and has a cell in the basement that was used to house prisoners.Whether you are looking for an intimate dinner, a team meeting space, drinks and canape reception or multi space events - over five floors, with five distinct and individual spaces there’s something for everyone. All our private spaces now include Sky & BT Sports. You can book a room for up to 30 guests and enjoy your own private screening of the biggest games. We’re delighted to say that we now have the best sport that BT, SKY and Terrestrial services have to offer. Over our five floors including our Roof Top you can catch all the action.

Our four spaces available for private hire have sperate feeds so you can sit back and watch whatever you choose. Our team will be on hand to make sure you have plenty to eat and drink so you don’t miss a minute!

An oasis in the heart of central London, our Rooftop lets you take in views of the Royal Opera House and surrounding area. The relaxed vibe of the Rooftop feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of Theatreland.

Our Rooftop is available all year round with an awning, outdoor heaters and a seated space inside if the weather is unkind. Boasting tv & Wi-Fi facilities, a private mini bar and relaxed décor it’s an ideal breakout space for meetings and drinks parties up to 30 guests.

Our Garden room located on our fourth floor, adorned with antique botanical prints is a stylish new addition to Bow Street Tavern.

The room boasts AV & Wi-Fi facilities and an independent music system for all your needs. The private mini bar & fridge in the room can be stocked to your tastes and for anything else you can contact the bar team on the phone

Our quirky Inspectors office on the third floor is equipped with board games, comfy armchairs and a turntable complete with vinyl records.

The room can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests seated, or 30 guests standing for a canape & drinks reception.

This flexible space can be hired for meetings with use of our TV, Wi-Fi & Microphone, as well as private dining and standing drinks receptions.

Our Fielding room is located on the second floor of the venue. A quintessentially English dining room, where the William Morris wallpaper adds to its charm and character.

The perfect spot for larger parties of up to 35 standing or 25 seated, the Fielding room can be hired alongside the Gin Terrace where you can host arrival drinks before sitting down for dinner.

Half day rate £35 per person (Minimum of 6 people)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

WIFI: There is complimentary Wi-Fi available in the venue.Hire charge: There is no room hire charge for any of our spaces. We ask that you reach a minimum spend requirement for your event.Payments: We ask for a card authorisation to hold the date and require a deposit to confirm the booking. This is refundable on the day of your event or can be redeemed against the final bill.Opening times are as follows: MON TO THURS 11:00-23:30 FRI & SAT 11:00-00:00 SUN 12:00-22:30. However, we can apply for a temporary licence to open later for large events. We’re happy to open earlier for meetings.Corkage: You are welcome to bring in something special from the cellar. We apply a corkage charge of £15 per 750ml bottle of still wine and £20 per 750ml bottle for sparkling.

PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS: We are happy to accept provisional bookings, which will only be held for 5 working days, during which time we must receive the full deposit.PAYMENT SECTION: These will be taken as confirmation of booking and will be held against cancellation, failure to reach minimum spend or damages (see loss or damage). Providing there are no damages to be settled, deposit will be returned onto a credit/debit card. Deposits may only be paid via online link, credit/debit card or in cash unless otherwise agreed in advance.BAR TAKE-OVERS: These are subject to an agreed minimum spend. 50% of the minimum spend is required in advance with the outstanding 50% payable on the date of the event. If the agreed minimum spend is not reached on the night the customer is liable for the shortfall.CANCELLATION: For all pre-booked events cancellation is required in writing 15 days prior to the event and deposit will be refunded in full. For all pre-booked events cancelled 8-14 days prior to the event, half of your deposit will be forfeit. For all pre-booked events cancelled 7 days or less prior to the event, full deposit is forfeit.NO SHOW: In the event of no shows, your full card authorisation will be forfeit and you will be charged the food spend per head, drinks pre-ordered and any other costs involved in the event on top.CONFIRMATION OF NUMBERS: Confirmation of numbers must be finalised 48 hours prior to the event. Additions made after this time can be made and we will do our best to accommodate your booking, however we cannot guarantee availability for additional numbers. We may not be able to accommodate extra numbers should you neglect to inform us. Please note that areas/tables are reserved accordingly. In the event of reduced numbers you will be charged the food spend per head and shortfall of minimum spend.MENUS AND PRE-ORDERING: All the party must choose from one menu unless otherwise agreed. All pre-orders must be confirmed 7 days prior to the event. There is an order form to assist with this.LOSS OR DAMAGE: We take no responsibility for loss of personal belongings on the premises. In the event of damage to our property, Bow Street Tavern has the right to obtain an independent quote to assess the cost of the damage. Any deposit left after repairs will be refunded by the same means in which it was paid. In the event of damage being more than the deposit, Bow Street Tavern has the right to payment in full.PAYMENTS: All accounts are to be paid on the day of the event by cash, credit or debit card unless otherwise agreed. Please note that gratuities of 12.5% will be added to party bookings of 10 or more. Should you not wish to pay a gratuity please inform the staff member prior to payment as gratuities cannot be refunded after the payment.T&C AGREEMENT: The payment of a deposit and/or confirmation of any booking means you agree to our terms and conditions.
