Welcome to the National Community!

Actionable Intelligence Through a Nationwide Fusion Center! The THREADS™ platform is the first of its kind, introducing a community for law enforcement and authorized corrections staff! The community allows law enforcement and authorized corrections staff a way to analyze a central pool of data without compromising the integrity of data or the integrity of an investigation. Identify inmates stealing and sharing PINs, identify inmates talking to each other by calling the same phone number on the outside - even from different correctional facilities, run pattern and frequency statistics for inmates across multiple jails, receive notifications when inmates from other facilities contact numbers on your bounce lists, receive information related to if any inmate in the country (using Securus) has attempted to contact your witness or the cell phone of the murdered victim, and much more.

Join the community and put THREADS™ to work for you, analyzing communications intelligence nationwide! Access the following community use agreement and send it to your Securus account manager today! www.securustech.net/threads

THREADS™ Communication Timeline’s

The THREADS™ platform allows investigators to determine a timeline of communication records, associa-

tions, mail cover, events, and user defined entries. This feature can be run for a target, enterprise, site, or

communication subscription for information from a single investigation, correctional facility, or even nation-

wide! THREADS™ users are able to import cell phone data via a UFED device (cell forensics extraction de-

vice) and view a timeline of cell phone data in addition to inmate phone calls automatically imported from

SCP into the THREADS™ platform. Timeline data is presented in several user friendly, visual format that is

easily manipulated with no change to the native data, allowing you to customize your intelligence to outline

your investigation.

Securus Technologies, Inc. is the premier provider of innovative solutions for the corrections and law enforcement industry.

Securus installs and manages state-of-the-art communications systems for correctional facilities, state of the art communications analysis software for corrections and law enforcement, and offers convenient payment products and services to offenders and their friends and family members. Securus Technologies has partnered with top experts in investigative analysis and law enforcement to bring you the very best in communications analysis, providing law enforcement with actionable intelligence and focused leads using data nationwide!

Securus’ THREADS™ platform brings to the market a nationwide investigative community, bridging the gap between law enforcement agencies and corrections facilities. This allows investigators to reach coast to coast to uncover focused leads across the country in a matter of seconds.

With headquarters in Dallas, Texas, Securus employs 700 associates who serve approximately 2,200 correctional facilities and surrounding law enforcement in 44 states, and more than 850,000 offenders nationwide. Securus leads the industry in innovation, with over 100 industry patents granted and approximately 35 pending. THREADS™ is a world-class set of software/algorithms that assists high-profile law enforcement and corrections agencies to solve

and prevent crimes.

Guarded Exchange™ (GEX) is a solutions company that develops software and techniques to help correctional facilities and law enforcement solve crimes and—more important—predict and prevent the crime before it happens. GEX uses behavior analysis software and live personnel to monitor offender communication, such as phone calls, mail, and video visitation. Trained investigators audit and validate suspicious communication and sends it to the appropriate intelligence unit. Their software can interface with information residing within your department database to provide a comprehensive social link analysis, essential to understanding and evaluating the activities among offenders, your employees and the general public.

GEX signed as an exclusive partner to Securus in July 2012. They provide real-time monitoring and investigative lead management for 5% of all Missouri DOC calls, as well as webinar and on-site training for Securus’ THREADS™ customers.
