• 1 in every 14 young people deliberately self harm due to mental health illnesses.

• There has been a 68% increase in hospital admissions for self-harm.

• 80,000 young people suffer from severe depression.

• 72% of children in care have behavioural or emotional problems.

• 24,000 suicide attempts made by 10 to 19 year olds in England each year.

What to do if you have a mental health concern?

• Talk to a friend, teacher, parent or doctor.

• Maintain your social life.

• Use peer support.

• Be active.

• Get outdoors.

• Stick to your routine.

How can we support ?

• Fund raising.

• Ask for a charity event request form-the Hub.

• Wait for approval.

• Hold your charity event.

• Hand your money in at Student Services.

• Aiming for £1000 before July 2015.
