House Tours11am–4.30pmMount Stewart provided the setting for Edith’s house parties and inspired important conversations throughout the first decades of the twentieth century. As well as hosting talks in the Central Hall, the house will be a sensory attraction during the two day event.

A place alive with life and entertainment, every sense was utilised to bring the house to life – The house will be filled with scented flowers, the table will be laid for dinner, and afternoon tea will be resplendent in the Little Dining Room. As you walk from room to room, you might catch a waft of Lord Londonderry’s cigar smoke, or smell the alluring scent of Lady Londonderry’s perfume created in the 1930’s. Listen to the Bechstein piano in the Drawing Room playing music once again...

Guests will be invited to take in the atmosphere of Mount Stewart, and appreciate the work of Lady Londonderry in creating such a magical interior.

Free flow access to the mansion house from 11am–4.30pm.
