After the Fourth of July the summer just seems to be on runaway mode, doesn’t it? So far we’ve had a busy summer with many visitors from all over the world, using the free library Wi-Fi, taking advantage of our free computers with Internet, doing archives research, or just stopping by for a cup o’ joe, a cookie, and some conversation. Just a couple of things I’d like to bring to your attention: * We’ve got an Amazon Wish List for purchasing library materials. If you’d like to buy the library a book or a DVD we’ve got listed, just go to Amazon.com and search under “Find a Wish List or Registry” for “Thompson-Hickman” (without the quotes). Thanks! * The library is hoping to have a stalwart person head and organize its own Friends Group. A library Friends Group does important work in supporting the library in many different ways. More information can be found at http://www.ala.org/united/friends.” ~Jack Albrecht, Director Have a great rest of the Summer, from your Library staff!
