How to Contact Your Elected Officials in2012
A new year means new activities for electedofficials at every level. For your convenience, Ihave provided a list of contacts for thoserepresenting our area in state and federalgovernment. You may want to keep thesenumbers handy throughout the year.
In the meantime, we expect another intenselegislative session in Jefferson City. The SecondRegular Session of the 96th General Assemblystarted on Jan. 4, 2012. We are looking atapproximately a $500 million budget deficit forFiscal Year 2013, so it will be another year ofhaving to make some tough decisions in order tobalance the budget. Rest assured, I will fight forrural Missouri, as I have every year that I haveserved in the Missouri Legislature.
