SUNDAY SCHOOL begins at 10:00 — aſter Worship. The children will be released at the end of Worship and follow their leaders out of the Sanctuary. TODAY the children will collect Noisy Offering to support youth acvies and trips as well as George in Tanzania. SHALOMS FALL BAZAAR is set for Saturday, November 3. Sign-up sheets are now up in the narthex. There are a few areas sll in need of help. Take a poster to put up at work! Put cket money in a marked envelope in Linda Fenelons mailbox. Addional ckets are available in the Office. Please be working on baked goods, craſts and Silent Aucon baskets. Join the leadership in making this event a success. You may bring in craſts, aucon items and canned goods Thursday aſternoon unl about 6:00 pm. Friday all items may be brought in between 8 am and 7 p.m. You may price your baked goods or not. All soups and pies need to be at church before 9:00 am on Saturday. (Remember it takes a while to heat those soups up.) Thank you everyone for your contribuons. GLASSES & HEARING AID COLLECTION Shalom is a collection point for used glasses and hearing aids to be handled by the Golden Brothers and Sisters Club in Alexandria. A collection box can be found on the information desk in the narthex. They are refurbished and sent to third world countries to help those who would not otherwise be able to have glasses.

HAVE AN OLDER CAR TO GET RID OF?? Donate your car to the Douglas County Car Care Program. During their first three years they donated 132 cars and repaired 244 client owned cars. The current needs are: volunteers to help repair vehicles on Car Care Saturday mornings; volunteers to help bring in donated vehicles using our tow-ing vehicle or driving them in; and financial support to pay for the needed parts, ser-vices and support needed for the program. Sustained healthy nutrition helps students excel, promotes family harmony & adds to the well being of neighborhoods. let’s share our thankful hearts by providing groceries for those in need. Food gifts can be put in the Narthex grocery cart. Thank you for your generosity.

QUILT RAFFLE Keep on selling the quilt raffle tickets for the November 3 Fall Ba-zaar. More tickets are available in the Office. It is a beautiful blue quilt. Please put raffle ticket money in a marked envelope in Linda Fenelon’s mailbox.

“THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER” will be showing at the Andria Theatre and is our next Connect to Celebrate – Shalom Family Event. Shalom has a block of 40 tickets reserved for our Shalom families on Sunday, December 16th at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $10/adult or student and $10/K-5th Grade Child. To reserve our spot, we must sign up and pay by Friday, November 9th. Put check to “Andria Theatre” in envelope in Tam Bukowski’s mailbox at Shalom.

DAILY TEXTS: Shalom will be ordering 20 copies for the church. If you would like to order one (or more) and get in on a reduced rate, there is a sign up in the Communi-ty Room. Depending on how many are added to the order the cost will be $6.95/book (or possibly less if we order many more). Please sign up for these before Thanksgiving so that we can get the order to Mt.
