Bereshith (Genesis)2:1-31 Thus the heavens and the earth werecompleted, and all their array. 2 And on

the seventh day Elohim completed Hiswork which He had done, and He restedon the seventh day from all His work

which He had made. 3 And Elohim blessedthe seventh day and set it apart, becauseon it He rested from all His work which

Elohim in creating had made.

Shemoth (Exodus)16:22-3022 And it came to be, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much

bread, two omers for each one. And all he rulers of the congregation cameand told Mosheh. 23 And he said to them, This is what YAHUAH has said,Tomorrow is a rest, a Sabbath set-apart to YAHUAH. That which you bake,

bake; and that which you cook, cook. And lay up for yourselves all that is leftover, to keep it until morning. 24 And they laid it up till morning, asMosheh commanded. And it did not stink, and no worm was in it. 25 AndMosheh said, Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to YAHUAH, today you donot find it in the field. 26 Gather it six days, but on the seventh day, whichis the Sabbath, there is none. 27 And it came to be that some of the people

went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none. 28 AndYAHUAH said to Mosheh, How long shall you refuse to guard Mycommands and My Torot? 29 See, because YAHUAH has given you theSabbath, therefore He is giving you bread for two days on the sixth day. Leteach one stay in his place, do not let anyone go out of his place on the

seventh day. 30 So the people rested on the seventh day.

Shemoth (Exodus) 31:12-1812 And YAHUAH spoke to Mosheh, saying, 13 And you, speak to thechildren ofYisraEl, saying, My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means,for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, toknow that I, YAHUAH, am setting you apart. 14 And you shall guard the

Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shallcertainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that beingshall be cut off from among his people. 15 Six days work is done, and onthe seventh is a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to YAHUAH. Everyone doingwork on the Sabbath day shall certainly be put to death. 16 And thechildren ofYisraElshall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbaththroughout their generations as an everlasting covenant. 17 Between Meand the children ofYisraElit is a sign forever. For in six days YAHUAHmade the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested andwas refreshed. 18 And when He had ended speaking with him onMount Sinai, He gave Mosheh two tablets of the Witness, tablets of

stone, written with the finger of Elohim.

Shemoth (Exodus) 20:8-118 Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart. 9 Sixdays you labor, and shall do all your work, 10 but theseventh day is a Sabbath of YAHUAH your Elohim.

You do not do any work you, nor your son, nor yourdaughter, nor your male servant, nor your femaleservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is

within your gates. 11 For in six days YAHUAH made

the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is inthem, and rested the seventh day. ThereforeYAHUAH blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart.
