Dear Children,
The 2019 -20 school year has been quite a challenge. In all, we give thanks to God. I
would like to thank you all for soldiering and getting on irrespective of what has
come your way. We have lived the words – We can do all things, through Christ who
strengthens us.

When the grey clouds come gliding across the sky
Smile. When all you feel like is to cry.
Smile.
Smiling will not change the colour of the clouds and it might
just rain.
Remember, flowers need sunshine and rain to grow.
Enjoy each day. Just smile!
Ms Jones J

What a year we have had!
I feel I have watched you grow and develop into Year 2 but unfortunately missed the
opportunity to see you develop your confidence ready for KS2.

Message from our Chaplain…
One of my favourite films as a child was The Sound of Music. I still love the songs and especially ‘So Long, Farewell’ The children in the film get ready to sing a goodbye song and they all do their own part in their own way. Some want to stay because they are having a good time. Others want to go because they want to be going on to the next place already. And some just want to say goodbye properly. This week we will say Goodbye to some people. And Farewell to others. We will say to most – ‘See you again in September’ and be ready to catch up with summertime stories. As you say goodbye this week, remember that God goes with you. And as you wonder what everyone else is doing, remember God goes with them too. This summer – remember to give thanks for our teachers and support staff and our school as they pack up and prepare for September. Remember to give thanks for the time we had together this year and the times we will share soon. And remember that even when we are far apart, we are all part of one Family of Faith and a Fellowship of Koinonia Students, Staff and Families. Have a great summer and God Bless You in the days and weeks to come. Amen Let all that you do be done in love (1 Corinthians 16:14).
