______________________________________________________________
[00.04] Life is complex and unpredictable. People face uncertainty, challenges and choices every day.
We're here to help people and communities look forward to the future with confidence.
FF: [00.23] Our home was a bit of an oasis in the middle of the town. The day of the flood was really
never expected to see quite the situation that I came home to.
DF: [00.36] It was causing rapids and it was coming in different directions at very high force.
FF: [00.41] We were unable to get back into our home. You may be a little bit numb to the situation.
You recognise that it was just stuff and we had to move on.
-
DF: [00.54] I would put Aviva on a pedestal because they came through so superior to other
insurance companies, in my opinion.
FF: [01.02] Life is full of uncertainties. Just getting the answers that we did from Aviva gave us that
opportunity to rebuild again.
HG: [01.09] Creating a legacy is fundamentally about what a good business does. Yes we're here for
our customers today but we also need to be here for our customers tomorrow. Being financially
stable means we are going to be here in the next 300 years.
MO: [01.26] It is like coming back from the dead, they considered me a miracle. While driving along
the highway, I passed to the right lane. A car came across me from the left lane. Bang! He hit my left
rear wing. I was thrown out of the car, and it somersaulted and landed on me. I was in intensive care
for three months. A whole three months. I loved to live my life to the fullest. I still do, thanks to my
life insurance. Aviva enabled me to cover my debts and save my family from financial burden.
[02.06] You never know what is going to happen to you, everything can change in a second. Am I
ashamed because I'm blind? Absolutely not, I'm proud of being blind.
ST: [02.18] I suppose for me the best thing about working for Aviva is the autonomy we have as
employees, which means we can really deliver the best service and products possible for our
customers.
MJ: [02.31] I was perspiring and my heartbeat was erratic so I rang emergency services and was sent
to hospital. I never thought I could have heart problems. There were no symptoms. My hobbies are
drinking tea, reading and relaxing. I suddenly realised that there were so many things I haven't done.
So I had a very strong desire to live. Soon afterwards I learnt that my insurance claim was successful.
Now I have realised what kind of life I want and I was very lucky to marry my beautiful wife soon
after.
SS: [03.25] I get calls from customers just wanting to tell me how happy they are that they are with
Aviva and the service we provided, but not only the service, the care. They told us Aviva really truly
does care.
CM: [03.36] I've always known I wanted to be a winemaker. Since my childhood, I've always been
involved in the company. I'm the 12th generation to manage the family business. I enjoy working
close to nature. Each vintage is different. You have to question your processes every year. 80% of
the quality of a vintage depends on the quality of the grapes and there is a degree of uncertainty in
respect to nature. Needless to say, that is why it is important to be insured. It takes away my fear, so
I can focus fully on my work.
[04.12] For me it's important to not only buy a product, but to buy trust and that's what I found with
Aviva.
[04.20] We've been making a difference for our customers for 318 years. Last year we paid 27.5
billion in clams and benefits. To our 31 million customers in 17 countries. We're proud to invest in
communities worldwide. Creating a legacy for future generations.
