If you’re already receiving a course of treatment for your back, neck or any other muscle or joint condition, you should continue with this.

Step 1 – Make a callTo access BacktoBetter call the customer service helpline number which can be found on your membership card.

Step 2 – Tell us what’s happenedWe will ask you for some details about your symptoms, such as where it hurts and when the pain started.

One of advisers will arrange for a clinical case manager from the BacktoBetter team to call you back at a convenient time.

Step 3 – Get your personal treatment planYour clinical case manager will assess your symptoms and recommend a personal treatment plan that includes advice on managing symptoms and pain.

If it’s appropriate, you’ll be referred to one of our BacktoBetter approved physiotherapists for treatment within two working days and/or to a specialist for more help - please ensure this is arranged by us. We’ll also stay in touch, to see how things are going.

Step 4 – Let us pay the billsAt the end of your claim we will settle all bills directly with the treatment provider, so you don’t need to worry.
