Join a Band!
We are excited to announce the start of BAND groups at CCC. Band groups are small groups that meet regu-larly to grow and encourage one another in Christ.
Here are some things you should know about BAND groups at Countryside.
BANDS will Kick Off (officially) on Sunday September 24th.
BAND leaders are selecting the content of the BAND they plan to lead.
Each BAND will set the meeting dates and times.
Each BAND will select a service project to complete this fall.
Each BAND will conclude their fall meetings by November 19th.
All the BANDS will join together for a Thanks giving celebration on the 19th.
Here are some great reasons to join a BAND.
BAND groups are personal. CCC provides a great corporate worship experience each Sunday here at church but sharing life with other Christians happens best in small groups.
BAND Groups are the front line of pastoral care at CCC. BAND members will serve as first responders to needs for others in their BAND.

Evangelism opportunities to people you care about are offered in BAND. Someone interested in knowing more about Christ are much more likely to come to a small group setting than they are to a church wor-ship service.
BAND is the word. When something important is happening at CCC- BAND is the best place to hear and talk about it.
BAND members encourage one another to serve and serving with people you know and care about brings joy to your service.
BAND CAN’T make you a disciple of Jesus Christ. People make disciples. But, in BAND you’ll find great people on the road to becoming better disciples and their journey to discipleship will inspire and assist your journey.
BAND CAN help you love and live like Jesus, that’s the purpose of Countryside & a small group that can help keep central the goal of being like Jesus, will help us all love and live like Him.
At CCC small groups are not a program we do – they’re a part of who we are.

Women’s Camp at Pibel - Sept 8-10 Man Camp at Pibel - Sept 15-16
Welcome to another year of Kingdom Kids! This year
we are excited to bring you Super Heroes of the Bible.
We will learn about supermen like Joseph (a.k.a. Vision:
The man with a plan.) Samson a.k.a. The Hulk. We will
learn about villains like Goliath the Giant. Wonder wom-
en like Rahab the Shield. We will learn about super pow-
ers (miracles) as well. It's going to be an exciting time as
we hear the Bible stories, play games, do crafts, sing
songs and other activities and you won't want to miss
out. Even you grown-ups can get in on the Super Hero
action. We are still seeking adults to help with this year's program. It might just be YOUR
special superpower we are missing to make this year the best yet! Please contact Jane if you
are willing to become part of our Justice League.
Something different this year, we will be learning how to use our Bibles. We will be learn-
ing the Books of the Bible in order. We will be doing this with fun games, actions and may-
be even songs.
Wednesday, September 6th we kick off this year with a Super Hero themed party. Everyone
is welcome to come dressed in a superhero costume or t-shirt. Join us for a night of fun as
we start this year's Kingdom Kid's adventure.
We are looking for people to help with
Sunday School classes and Children's
Church. We need helpers and lead-
ers. If this is something you are inter-
ested in trying, please contact Jane
Wentz. Our children are important to
us here at Countryside. It's takes a
whole church to run children's pro-
graming. It can not be done by one
person alone. Please be praying for the
kids and the leaders as we get started
this fall with our programs. Thanks.
