How Does Chronic Pain Affect the Body?

Chronic pain is a disease of the nervous system and can change the way the brain communicates with the body. Chronic pain can:

• Change Amino Acid Levels• Change in Nutrient Levels• Affect Neurotransmitter Levels• Create Miscommunication Between

Cells

Over time, chronic pain can prolong and amplify pain, rendering many treatments ineffective.

How Can Theramine Improve Pain Management?

Theramine® Provides the “fuel” required to

manage the increased metabolic demands of pain.

Improve concentrations of the key amino acids and nutrients required to make the neurotransmitters responsible for dampening pain signals and reducing inflammation

Restore homeostasis to the central and peripheral nervous systems

Pain Management Reinvented

Drugs are designed to treat the symptoms of pain, Theramine addresses the increased nutritional requirements of pain.

Pain alters metabolic rates, accelerating the rate that amino acids and neurotransmitters are consumed by the body to manage the pain process.

Nutritional deficiencies that develop over time can prolong and amplify pain and inflammation.

Theramine improves the amino acid levels required to restore nervous system balance and improve pain management.*

In a 28 day double-blind, randomized, controlled, multicenter trial of 127 subjects with chronicestablished back pain, Theramine proved more effective than naproxen at reducing pain. Subjects taking Theramine as an adjunct to low dose naproxen, experienced a statistically significant reduction in pain compared to once daily naproxen (250mg)1 .
