What is it?

Launched by Google in 2012, The Knowledge Graph provides searchers with structured and detailed information about a topic in addition to just a list of standard search results

Why does it matter?

Google, as part of its 15 year anniversary, announced that on 2nd Oct The knowledge graph would be key part of a new algorithmic update, called Hummingbird
