Motivated employees require less supervision, have a better attitude, and are more productive; all these factors will improve your bottom line. The books are always available, free of charge, to all Zappos Family employees, vendors, and guests. There is just one rule: If you take a book, read it. That means that library books cannot be used as doorstoppers or laptop lifts; after you read the book you can keep it, pass it on to a friend or coworker, or return it back to the library. Below is the current list of books kept in the library. From time to time, employee, guest, author, or customer recommendations are rotated in addition to these titles below. The books are divided up based on general theme, but there are many reoccurring ideas that are found in all these titles regardless of category. Most of these books are available at local bookstores, and all are available on Amazon.com.
