Supporting:
Exercise4Life is a U.K wide event which aims to improve the health of the nation through regular exercise.
The WRIGHT Foundation are proud supporters of Change4Life.
The Aim
The aim of the event is to get the U.K moving, improving the populations health through exercise.
The WRIGHT Foundation research (Reg. Charity No. SC037179) aim to continue to research into the prevention and improvement of chronic medical conditions heart and lung disease through activity and exercise.
This research will help prolong and save the lives of people with Chronic Heart Failure and Cancer.
This event has grown from the Swim for Life challenge, the largest swimming challenge in the UK. Due to requests from our supporters, the event has evolved and now includes 8 exciting new disciplines…
When taking part in Exercise4Life participants can be involved in up to 8 challenges or simply 1!
The event can be completed indoors or outdoors and can be completed in one or several attempts.
Exercise4Life is achievable by all ages and abilities. By taking part in 1 or more of the challenges, general health and fitness will improve.
Hosting Centres
Exercise4Life operates UK wide in conjunction with Leisure Centre’s, Private Fitness Clubs, Hotels, Associations and Local Authorities.
2010 – 500 centre’s welcomed the Exercise4Life programme. Help us reach 1000 in 2011.

Remember if there is not a Participating Centre near you, you can perform your challenges at any Leisure Centre or even in the great outdoors.
We need your ideas!
Exercise4Life will run continuous from 1st September 2011. Running a rolling programme of events and targeting specific challenges month by month.
A number of organised events will allow participants to learn new skills and to enjoy exercise.
The vision is for participants to retain their new found enthusiasm for exercise.
Incentives
All participants will receive a certificate of merit for taking part.
All fundraisers receive a certificate of achievement. The level depends on the funds raised (Over £20 = Bronze, £60 = Silver, £100 = Gold).
Incentives
3 star prizes for the highest fundraisers including a luxury hotel break for 2 people.
Trophies for the top 3 fundraisers. Trophies for the top 3 school fundraisers
and the top 3 commercial fundraisers. Trophy for the largest team to complete and
event.
