Escaping into the forest, he joined his older brothers, Tuvia, Asael and Zus, who soon formed the legendary all Jewish Bielski partisan brigade. His intimate knowledge of the forest made him a valuable asset as a scout, and he was instrumental in rescuing Jews and bringing them into the Bielski camp. Workshop presenter Bruce Bramlett is a Bay Area based educator specializing in Holocaust studies and teacher training. The workshop will include an overview of JPEF’s online learning opportunities, and introduce the new Educator Toolkit that will be gifted to every workshop participant. A Hands-On Educator Institute on Teaching with the Film Hosted by The Holocaust Education Resource Council
