HAVER & BOECKER began producing woven wirecloth in Hohenlimburg, Germany, in 1887. In 1925 theMachinery division began producing valve bag packing machines for cement. The production of NIAGARA-Vibrating screens started in 1930.

Today, we are one of the world’s leading wire weavingcompanies with a global network of branches and manufacturing facilities. In 2010, HAVER & BOECKER operates several plantsin Germany as well as manufacturing facilities in GreatBritain, Belgium, the USA, Canada, India and Brazil.More than 2,000 people work for the Group worldwide,with more than 100 serving their apprenticeship in theGerman facilities.

Our work is based upon experience, continuousresearch and development of our products and manufacturing processes, along with the knowledge and ability of our staff. This combination of tradition andinnovation allows us to meet and exceed the highexpectations of our customers.

Wire Weaving Division – Product RangeThe use of the latest production tech-nology and equipment, as well as asophisticated quality control, guaran-tees the most suitable Haver WireCloth for any application.

We weave using wires as thick as 16 mm (0.63") diameter down tothose of only 0.016 mm (16 microns)diameter.

Steel: bright, galvanized, tinned, lac-quered, plastic coated.Stainless Steel: chromium steel,nickel chromium steel, nickel chromi-um molybdenum steel, heat resistingsteel.Non-ferrous-metals: aluminium,nickel, MONEL-metal, phosphorbronze, brass, copper.Special materials: titanium, hastel-loy, silver and many others.Plastics: polyethylene, polyester,polyamide, polypropylene.

Woven Wire Cloth “as woven” ismanufactured according to ISO 9044and corresponds to the user’sdemands. In some cases it may benecessary to make specific arrange-ments to satisfy our customers’ requi-rements.

State-of-the-art machinery and a teamof qualified experts manufacture wirecloth and wire cloth products suitablefor all applications.

POROSTAR XL-Filters are used forthe production of polyester fibres andpolyester monofilament. HAVER Spinning Nozzle Filters andStrainer Sieves for articificial andnatural rubber products.Filterdiscs with one or several layersfor extruders.Wire Cloth for sieves and filters.Calendered and sintered wire clothfor composite materials.PLYMESH and POROSTAR WovenWire Cloth Laminated Panels:Several layers of woven wire cloth ofthe same or different characteristicsare firmly joined together by sinte-ring. PLYMESH is mainly used for aerati-on pads and cones as a highly effi-cient discharging aid in silos and inair conveying troughs. POROSTAR is a filter medium withmany applications. The characteristicsof its material make it specially suita-ble for the particle free filtration ofsolid-liquid and of solid-gaseousmaterials.

The MACHINERY DIVISIONbegan producing valve bag packingmachines for cement in 1925. Theproduction of sieving machinesstarted in 1930.

Since then HAVER & BOECKERhas supplied more than 8,000 packing machines and loa-ding plants for the bagging ofcement, lime, fertilizers, dry mor-tar products and plastic granules aswell as more than 15,000 NIAGA-RA Vibrating Screens for thescreening of rail gravel, sand,gravel and ore.
