Upcoming Water U Webinars

Effective Utility Management (EUM) App Overview and

Use - Part 1 - April 16th, 2pm - FREE Webinar.

Instructors: Bill O’Connell, NRWA Program Manager & Chris Wilson, NRWA Web and Mobile App Developer

The Effective Utility Management (EUM) app is designed for utilities to complete a self assessment of the 10 Key

Management Areas and receive immediate feedback on how their score compares to well run systems. The feedback

lets the system set benchmarks on reaching goals appropriate for their utility. The app also allows Workshop in a Box

attendees to guide other board/council members on the self assessment process.NRWA is providing EUM training using

the Workshop in a Box with the Rural and Small Systems Guidebook to Sustainable Utility Management. The training tar-

gets the staff and management of small and rural water/wastewater systems. Many small utilities struggle with various

issues which may include aging or inadequate infrastructure, difficulties in retaining or requiting qualified staff, growing or

establishing financial reserves and setting rates that are reflective of true operational costs.. Register at:
