She was scared, he couldn't blame her for that, to be the only woman in a room full of men whose thought were clouded by alcohol and animal urges, was a true test of endurance. What he couldn't understand was, what was a woman like her doing there, he could swear that she had never stepped in a place like this, she wasn't like the other women who came there in search of adventure.

Okay you guys this is just a preview of the book that has been in my mind for awhile now, and it's called "The stranger"- I will write just a small part of it, and if someone likes it, and asks for it I will write the whole version, Xoxo',

Author X.

This story is about Sophia, a beautiful young girl, who falls in love with Antony, a charming "doctor", trapped in her fairy tale story, she doesn't realise that the man she loves is not what he seems.

In order to save her life, and the lives of the people she loves it's time to take a decision, that takes her one step closer to death, but in the same time one step closer to freedom.

In her quest for freedom Sophia meets Jacob, the man who had the appearance of a cowboy, and a pair of blue eyes that took her breath away.

This is how the story begins :

The car gave her last breath a few minutes ago , and she saw herself needed to go forwardthrough the unforgiving desert, she could feel the sun scorching her smooth and white skin, her clothes appeared to weight a ton, and her legs were starting to slow down.

It's been a year now, since she started to have the life of a fugitive, and even though she refused to admit it she never, not for a second felt the freedom she craved. It was her craving for freedom the one who gave Sophia the courage to leave the man who was both her lover and her executioner.

She could hear the car getting closer, she was tired, starved, but above all that desillusioned, she was about to give up when she saw that tavern who had the appearence of a place detached from cowboy movies illustrating the Wild West.

Even though she knew it was a bad idea just like her last ideas, there was no other choice, she either got in, or got caught by the men her husband sent to bring her back.

In the moment she stepped through the hinged doors she felt a terrible urge to turn around and run as fast as she could, the place was more terrible than she imagined, the cigarette smoke was so thick that you could cut it with a knife, and the smell of alcohol and sweat combined made her stomach to rebel, but the most terrifying was the way they looked at her, all eyes turned in herdirection, and there was no need to be a clairvoyant to read the thoughts of these men, they werethe beast and she was their prey.

She felt a drop of sweat trickling on her back while she was movind towards the bar, and shook her fists in order to master the emotions, she dared to look at the bartender hoping that she will find a support there. Another bad idea, his grin was disgusting, she looked away, and lost herself in a pair of blue eyes, as blue as the sky. His eyes weren't filled with desire unlike the rest,he seemed more likely surprised to find her there, his slightly raised eyebrow seemed to say : " - Are you sure you know what your're getting into?"

He looked at her from top to bottom, she had long black hair, white skin,a snob nose, and emerald green eyes, her fleshy lips were slightly parted, she was wearing a white shirt and black short skirt, stiletto heels and matching handbag.

And yet, there was something in her eyes, a certain mystery that he fail to decipher, and captivated him from the first moment he laid eyes on her.

A smile appeared at the corner of his lips when he heard her ordering a drink that the bartender had probably never heard of in his entire life, she was trying to appear confident, held her back straight and had a forced smile on her lips.

She took a risk and looked at the man beside her, she felt an empty space in her stomach when she encounter those blue eyes again. his skin was burned by the sun, have fine wrinkles in the corner of the eyes and lips, those so called expression lines, his brown hair was bleached by the merciless sun of Texas.

He wear a cotton shirt and faded jeans with jaded hem, cowboy boots, and in his left, on the bar was a pair of thick leather gloves and some aviator sunglasses. He raised the beer bottle with the back of his hand and drove it to his lips without his look leaving her, not even for a second

She knew that they were behind her, even before Dom talked, the moment that she had avoided for twelve months was there, she stood up and looked at him without fear.

- Madam...

- Dom...

- I think it would be better if you join us.

Until now he looked with studied indifference everything that happens around him, it was evident that the woman knew the two men and her look had lost any trace of fear that he could see in her eyes moments before, she seemed resigned, yes, this was the word that described thethe feeling that engulfed her entire being.

Even the mystery evaporated from her green eyes, he could have swear that for a moment the sadness had took the place of the mystery, or maybe it was just his rich imagination. He had no idea what was happening with him, he didn't knew this woman, and it wasn't even his type, he liked voluptuous women, and one who stood before him was skinny and frail like a snowflake out in the wind, but still there was something about her that drawes him like a magnet.

The hell with this, what will be will be, what could he lose, he smiled to himself, and just when he swore he would not allow a woman to disturb peace.

He stood up and posted himself between her and the two men dressed in black, moment in which the two have moved such way that would allow him to see that they were armed and that it was better for him not to interfere.

He started to laugh , put on his sunglasses, raised his gloves from the bar, and gave his handto the woman, he was able to read the question that was in her eyes, and gave her an affirmative answer.

The man she had called Dom took a step in their direction and reached for his gun.

- The lady is coming with us.

- I wouldn't be so sure of that. Boys!

The men who until a few seconds ago seemed to be a bunch of bored drinkers had jumped ontheir feet with the agility of a panther, and had rifles cocked against the two strangers.

He turned again to the woman who did not cease to surprise him with her calm, and used his eyes to tell her to follow him, she slowly put her hand on his hand and followed him without saying a word.
