Thanks to all the parents who helped chaperone Maze Quest, Trunk ‘n’ Treat, and Night Strike

Bowling. To the teens and adults who volunteered at the Trunk ‘n’ Treat and Advent Pancake

Breakfast; many thanks for all your hard work decorating, setting up children’s games, flipping

flapjacks, and cleanup. Continue to have servant hearts!

The Fall In Review

Fall has come and gone! Our Peer Ministry team has had a great start with folks assisting in

HSFF & Confirmation Classes!! We got lost at the Maze Quest and had a great turn out for

Trunk ‘n’ Treat! Our Confirmation class had an amazing team bonding experience at the High

Ropes course out at Black Rock Retreat Center! Everyone learned something new about

themselves and gained some courage on the way. Our Night Strike “Turkey Bowling “ was a

blast thanks to all who joined us! It was a fun and very competitive evening. Thanks to all who

helped with the Thanksgiving food sort. We were able to help many families. Lastly the Advent

Fair/Pancake Breakfast was enjoyed by all! Great way to start the Advent season; take time for

your family and prepare your hearts for remembering the birth of our Savior and for the time

when He will come again!!

All of our events and permission forms can be found on line at stmaryspylesville.org.

Check out the youth ministry bulletin boards in the Hall and Youth room for fliers and

permission forms or call Mrs. Rachel

“And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him

in a manger.”

Have a Blessed Advent, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Peace of Christ,

Mrs. Rachel
