CONGRATULATIONS to our “Students of the Week”:

Thanksgiving Break In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, school will be closed beginning at noon on Tuesday, November 21st, through Friday, November 24th. Classes will resume on Monday, November 27th. We hope this will be a time of rest and renewal for your family. May it also serve as an opportunity to reflect upon the many blessings the Lord has be-stowed upon us both individually, and as a nation!

Alumni Games

We want to invite our parents and students to come and watch some of our alumni basketball players, as they dust off their shoes, on Saturday, November 25th. Alumni men will be playing at noon, and alumni ladies (with enough partic-ipation) will be playing at 2:00 pm. Please come out and cheer them on!

THANKSGIVING BREAK

Safety Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs,

Texas. This tragedy reminds us of our responsibility to protect the children of Grace. This week

we have reviewed our security protocols with staff and emphasized to our students the im-

portance of not opening locked doors for anyone.

We have reminded everyone that doors should never be propped. This coming Monday, we are

meeting with a security consultant to review our plan and take additional prudent measures to

protect our students. At the same time, we realize that our protection comes from the Lord. Will

you pray with us daily for God’s angels to have charge over us and protect us from the attacks

of the evil one and those he controls?

Ways you can help:

1. When coming to school, keep doors secured and invite others to come through the main en-

trance.

2. Please do not go to doors and rattle them until someone will notice – personnel and students

are instructed not to open the door. Please go to the main entrance.

3. Please do not ask your students to wait outside of the school building after 3:30 p.m. to meet

you for pickup or drop off of individuals or items.

Please pray for God’s good hand of blessing and protection to be on Grace Christian School.

ScragglePop In order to accommodate the Thanksgiving Break, orders for ScragglePop will be due THIS

FRIDAY, November 10th, and delivered next week!
