THANKSGIVING BREAK As we look toward the Thanksgiving break, we wanted to remind you about the Remote Learning Day on Monday, Nov 22. This allows us to provide the entire week off for families to travel, while still counting the day as an instructional day toward our state requirement. Students will have some instructional assignments that can be completed anytime over the week, but there will be no live in-struction. Students will have until December 1st to get their work in from these days without late penalties. Our teachers will be available from 9am-1pm on November 22 to answer student email questions regarding assignments. Teachers will only be responding to text messages or emails during these hours on this day to allow them to also enjoy the rest of the week with their families. The as-signments will be posted on Canvas, which is the platform that we have used the last few years for when we had Remote Learning Days and Online Instructional Snow Days. Further information on getting into Canvas will be provided in next week's update. We want all our staff and students to en-joy a restful Thanksgiving week that will allow them to recharge for the final weeks of the semester. Thank you for partnering with us at Grace!
