BTG SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM

Each school year, 33.5% of the school population is eligible for free or reduced lunch.

When school is out for he summer, many of these children don’t know when or how they’ll be receiving their next meal. BTG’s Summer

Lunch Program aims to fix that.

How can YOU help? Newnan FUMC has committed to help distribute lunches for the weeks of June 6, 13, & 27 (M-F | 11am – 1pm).

For each date, a group of 10-12 individuals will need to report to BTG (19 1st Ave.). Please sign

up for available dates online (link below) or click the banner on our website. Sunday School classes, Life Groups, friends, or families are all encouraged to sign up for a day or more. This is a GREAT opportunity to be the hands and

feet of Christ this summer. Visit: SignupGenius.com/go/30E044DA9A9DA7F4

THE SHEPHERD NEWSLETTER APRIL 19, 2016

PRESCHOOL NEWS Last week, the Southern Crescent Preschool Director’s Collaborative met at our

preschool. This is a group of preschool directors from churches located on the south side of Atlanta. There were 12 directors present, and, after a light lunch and brief

meeting, I took them on a tour of our preschool area. They were most impressed with our facility. It was evident to them that our preschool receives so much support from

the church. Thank you for your continued support of our preschool!

We are now enrolling for Preschool Summer Enrichment. Visit NFUMCPreschool.org for more information and to register.

For the upcoming 2016-2017 school year, I still have some spots available in various preschool classes and in the Kindergarten class. Please spread the word to your family and friends who may have an interest in enrolling. There are only one or two spots left

in many classes, so encourage them not to wait!

Blessings!

-Nancy Martin
