The Secrets of a
RadiantWoman of
Faith
We learn from the above verse that we are supposed to shine for Christ, buthow can we do that? What does a radiant (shining) woman of faith look like?
Last year I spend a lot of time learning about the little word "joy." And let metell you... radiance and joy go handinhand! Through the things I learned lastyear (and continue to learn everyday!) I have discovered some "secrets" tobecoming a radiant woman of faith. I can't wait to share them with you!
Read on my lovely friend...
Matthew 6:16 says...
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven."
Secret #1: She Has a Vibrant
Relationship with Jesus ChristA radiant woman of faith KNOWS Jesus personally and walks with Him eachday! She is in God's Word (the Bible) and is actively reading it and applying itto her life. She talks to Him through prayer and finds pleasure in reading anddoing His Word. True radiance must start with knowing Christ and walking with
Him.
How to do it:1) Know Him as your personal Savior (see note at the end)
2) Spend time with Him each day, reading the Bible and praying
Secret #2: She Is Confident In CHrist
Secret #3: She is focused on othersA radiant woman of faith is more focused on others than herself. I'll be honest...this is a tough one! It's so easy to think more about yourself than others, but in
order to shine for Christ, you really have to forget about "you." A radiantwoman is looking for ways to brighten someone else's day. She is also looking
for ways to share Christ with others
How to do it:1) Ask the lord to help you think of other more and yourself less
2) Actively look for ways to help others and share Christ with them
Confidence. Everybody wants it, but very few people have it. A woman of faithmust be confident IN CHRIST. She must realize her confidence is found in theLord {Proverbs 3:26} and cannot be based on her personality, her beauty, orher accomplishments because all of those things can change and fail. Somedays it can be hard to rely on Christ to be our confidence. However, we cannever forget that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!
{Philippians 4:13}
How to get it: 1) Ask Him to help us put ALL of our trust in Him and not rely on our own strength2) Remember that we are His and we are COMPLETE in Him {Colossians 2:10}
Do you know Jesus Christ as your personalSavior? Have you put your trust in Him? Doyou know if you are going to be with Him inHeaven someday? If not, please send me anemail and I will share with you how you can
have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ- TODAY! It's the greatest decision you will
EVER make!
There You Have It
There are a few other things that increase a young woman's
radiance, but those three are those most important. When a
young woman has a personal relationship with Christ, is confident
in Him, and thinks of others more than herself... she will be
radiant. She will be joyful. She will shine for Christ.
