Post 1 – Teaching Assistant (KS2). Part Time Temporary (15.75 hours -mornings)

We require an enthusiastic and skilled teaching assistant to support learninginitially in a Year 5 class, including supporting a pupil with autism. The post istemporary for the first year. Ideally applicants should have some experiencesupporting children’s learning in a school context and be able to join our teamas soon as possible.

Post 2 – EYFS Teaching assistant. Full time Temporary (26.25 hours)

We are looking for a skilled practitioner to offer support for children in EarlyYears, helping them overcome a variety of barriers to their learning. Experiencewith Thrive or in a nurture capacity would be an advantage. The post istemporary for the first year and the successful candidate should be able to startin September 2016 or sooner.

Salary: Grade B/C depending on experience.

For both posts, applicants should have at least a grade C in GCSE English andMaths (or equivalent). You will be expected to work alongside the class teacheror Special Educational Needs Coordinator and support individuals and smallgroups, both in and out of class. Please refer to the person specification for therespective post for essential criteria.
