A Sims 2 RKCChapter 1: Nugen Family

A/N: My laptop of 10 years died. Yep, and the sims I have backed up can’t seem to be installed onto the

Mac. So basically 3 generations in to Avonlea and it’s dead. Yeah I’m pretty devastated. However, I want to

complete one of these RKC challenges so badly and by golly I’m trying again.

So welcome to the Royal Kingdom of Celestia. Let’s meet our first peasant household the Nugen’s.

Everyone meet Kimmie Nugen and her son Keith. Apparently these sims have really bad depth

perception cause that crib is not lined up with the bed. (It is not I who lack depth perception. Nope it’s

the sims yep.)

Kimmie’s father had arranged for her to marry the son of a family friend named Armando. He had obtained a good job in the colosseum and had high hopes of becoming a

champion.

It didn’t take the two long before they were expecting their first child.

Armando religiously visited the tea room in the ancient temple at the center of town. His wife

attended with him as was expected, but she had not been brought up in a home where weekly

attendance had been required. It was an adjustment.

And before the couple knew it, their first child had made it’s appearance

in the kingdom.

Kimmie met Ruby Coldwell one of the founding merchants wives a few months after moving to Reefside and the birth of Keith. Honestly, the two women did not really hit it off. However, Kimmie was an ambitious lady

and knew she’d never achieve anything without befriending the higher classes….

Therefore, Kimmie invites Ruby over to her small home several times a week over the coming months for

cake and tea.

Before long Kimmie is pregnant again with her second child. Her husband Armando seemed excited about the news. At least if his autonomously rubbing

her belly was a sign then he was.

Armando was actually a pretty good father to young Keith. At least when he wasn’t working at the

colosseum entertaining the people of Celestia he would take a few hours with his son so Kimmie could

slip off for a bit.

He even took time to teach his young son to

walk.

The lady of the house hadn’t really progressed much towards opening a flower shop. She was still only growing daisies and the family couldn’t possibly

afford to pay the rent to own a stall or shop in the market square. One day.

Before either of them knew it Keith had grown into a strapping

young lad.

He seemed quite interested in the comings and goings of the kingdom. He was always asking

about what had happened at the assembly meetings Armado attended.

He did his chores and helped out around the house without complaint which was a very nice perk indeed.

Especially since there was now a new little one about the house. Kimmie and Armando welcomed their

second and last child to the family at the end of the rotation. A second son they named Marcus.

Armando headed into the heart of Celestia at the end of the rotation to report the family’s progress to their liege Lord Lampright and to pay the family’s tribute

as required.

With Keith off to school and with little Marcus asleep Kimmie found herself trying to decide if she would

invite Ruby over for tea or spend the afternoon working in her garden/arranging flowers….

So that’s where rotation one of the Nugen family ends. I hope you all enjoyed meeting these two.

They’re a sweet couple, but then again Popularity sims do usually make good parents. See you soon!
