About the Event Six years ago, the LA Street Food Fest was the city’s first event celebrating Los Angeles’ street food, culture and community. Launched in 2009, we are celebrating our sixth annual event at the Rose Bowl that will be our best yet. Angelenos eat their hearts out from nearly 100 food vendors from Los Angeles and beyond, featuring some of the citys and the worlds best street inspired food from top chefs and restaurants to street carts and gourmet trucks. After the first event attracted more than 20k attendees, attendance is capped at 5k presale ticket holders and the event sells out every year. Our in house marketing and PR team, Sauce LA, guarantees a great deal of press attendance and media coverage including hundreds of articles and posts and regular broadcast features. And our social media reach spans nearly 40k fans on Facebook plus 16k Twitter followers, 12k Instagram followers, and more than 25k email subscribers. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, July 11 th at the historic Rose Bowl. The event will feature gourmet food trucks, authentic street food including guest chefs from Mexico, and celebrity chef driven street food from many of the citys best restaurants. As in past years well feature a Street Food Cook-Off where vendors will compete for top honors from celebrity judges like Pulitzer Prize winning critic Jonathan Gold. Other features include the crowd favorite Ice Cream Social showcasing the citys best summer desserts, last years hit Iced Coffee Lounge featuring LAs top roasters, craft beer gardens, photo booth, music, entertainment and more. THE VENUE Rose Bowl Founded in 1888, Pasadenas historic Rose Bowl is the only active stadium in Los Angeles and is home to the historic Rose Bowl game and local teams. Six years ago, the LA Street Food Fest was the city’s first event celebrating Los Angeles’ street food, culture and community. Launched in 2009, we are celebrating our sixth annual event at the Rose Bowl that will be our best yet.
