Outranked only by New Orleans and San Francisco, Providence is No. 3 on Travel + Leisure’s America’s Best Cities for Foodies survey. Cited for its burgeoning farm-to-table establishments, the Capital City is winning the hearts and stomachs of American travel-ers with its New England “homey vibe.” Nods were given to Providence’s Chez Pascal and Nick’s on Broadway for serving seafood purchased directly from local fishermen. Provi-dence eclipsed New York City, which came in at No. 4, and neighboring Boston which came in at No. 23.
