Voting is a right that we have guaranteed by the US constitution. We should feel honored to have the right to select our members of government because many countries aren’t so lucky. All too often this is taken for granted.

The first step in voting is getting registered

People come to your high school your senior year and register you

If not registered at that time it can be done at any local court house

FEDERAL (U.S. GOVERNMENT

Mayor Sherrif Governor House of

Representatives Senate County Clerk Etc.

President Vice Presidnt Senate House of

Representatives

The first election is the primary in which we nominate candidates from our party.

The second election we vote for what we think is the best candidate overall

In most cases the candidate with the most votes wins their selected offices

This is not the case for Presidency, each state has a certain number of electoral votes and the person with the most electoral votes in the end wins.
