MODELS BULLY KENDALL
JENNER?Earlier today, the 18-
year-old model made
her Milan debut at
the Fendi show.
According to a
tabloid report,
Kendall wasnt
exactly given the
easiest time by some
of her fellow models.
During NYFW lastweek, Jenner was
reportedly bullied by
several models who
felt it was unfair that
she was modeling in
the show. According
to an insider, the
models felt that
Jenner had beengiven a free ride due
to her notoriety on
her familys reality
TV show, Keeping Up
with the
Kardashians.
One model allegedly
put out her cigarette
in Kendalls drink. But if Kendall wasnt
welcomed by her
fellow runaway
models, she sure
didnt act like it.
Despite this, Jenner
remains firm in
pursuing her
modelling career,claiming that she
wants to be taken
seriously and be
rewarded based on
her talent.
I want to be high
fashion. I want to betaken seriously, she
told LOVE magazine.People think that
this [success] justcame to me. But itdidn't. What I havehas almost workedagainst me.
In the words of
Taylor Swift, Kendall
clearly knows how
to shake it off .
A source close to Kendall tells us exclusively,If Kendall was bullied, she certainly isnt
aware of it. Shes too busy working hard and
enjoying what shes doing.

MILAN Who could have predicted that
Kim Ks little sister, Kendall Jenner, would
get bullied during fashion week in Milan?
Kendall Jenner has been featured in many
fashion shows this season, the most
recent event being New York Fashion
Week which included designs by Marc
Jacobs, Diane von Furstenburg, Donna
Karan and Tommy Hilfiger.
She even went so
far as to ban hersister, Kim
Kardashian, from
attending any of
her fashion
shows in order to
create a
distinction
between her
work and her
personal life. She
revealed her
thoughts on how
being affiliated
with her family
and their reality
TV show as well
as subsequent
spin-offs has
negativelyimpacted her
modelling career.
However, Kim
Kardashian
remains
supportive of her
sisters wishes.

YAHOO THREATENED WITH FINES
WASHINGTON: One of the most famoussearch engines, Yahoo, was oncethreatened with fines worthUS$250,000 (MYR808,000) a day if itfailed to comply with a secretsurveillance programme that forced itto hand over user data in the name ofnational security, as detailed in courtdocuments which were made public inan uncommon ruling by a secretivecourt panel.
The documents underscore how we
had to fight every step of the way to
challenge the US governmentssurveillance efforts, stated Yahoo
general counsel Ron Bell in a blog postthat will undoubtedly raise concernsregarding privacy. The documentsrevealed information on the PRISMsnooping programme discovered inleaked files from former NationalSecurity Agency contractor, Edward
Snowden.
The programme enabled USintelligence services to gather colossalamounts of data from leading Internetfirms including Google. Officials havestated that the programme concludedin 2011.
The documents containing 1,500 pageswere ordered released by the ForeignIntelligence Surveillance Court in the case
dating from 2007 and according to astatement made by Bell in the same year, the US government amended a key law to
demand user information from onlineservices.
Bell declared that they refused to comply
with what [they] viewed as unconstitutionaland overbroad surveillance, thus their
challenge of the US governments authority.
However, Yahoos court challenge failed and
it was compelled to hand over the user datademanded by the government.
At one point, the USgovernment threatened theimposition of US$250,000 infines per day if we refused tocomply, Bell revealed.
We consider this an important
win for transparency and hopethat these records help promoteinformed discussion about the
relationship between privacy, due process, and intelligencegathering, stated Bell.
The aftermath of the infamous Snowdenleaks has since motivated Yahoo as well asseveral others to make public courtdocuments such as these to prove theywere forced to comply with governmentrequests. It is their attempt to demonstratethe struggles and efforts made to protecttheir users rather than giving in to thegovernments demands.
The reveal of these court dockets to thepublic is extremely rare, Bell said, adding
that the company was concentrating onmaking the 1,500 pages publicly available
online.
But he clarified that despite the
declassification and release, portions ofthe documents remain sealed andclassified to this day, unknown even to ourteam.
