The overall outlook on our soap trailer:

Within our trailer, there are three main storylines which will feature.

Characters:

Emma Goldie – Bella Tiffany Breen – Sambuca Max Beard – Archie Emma Garner – Sarah (Girl who is kidnapped) Joe Garnett – Mark (The murderer)Emma Hardy – Rachael (The adopted child)Tiffany’s mum – Mother (The adopted child’s ‘mum’)

Roles and Costumes:

Archie – Boyfriend of Bella, confident man who thinks he can get away with anything, is cheating on Bella with Sambuca. Costume he wears – shows he is casual, trendy man.

Bella – Girlfriend of Archie wears very simple make-up and clothes, showing she doesn’t try too hard when it comes to her appearance, by her appearance the audience would think she is a sweet, mature girl.

Sambuca - Archie’s ‘mistress’, dresses in a provocative way, with big hair and lots of make-up, always makes an effort with her appearance.

Sarah – Sarah is walking alone through the woods which is a short cut to her friends house, she is dressed very casual as any teenager would. Sarah is on her mobile phone to her friend telling her that she won’t be long whilst walking, showing the audience that she feels vulnerable and wants somebody to comfort her, however someone is watching her.

Mark – Mark is the kidnapper/murderer therefore is dressed stereotypically all in black to show he is up to something evil. Mark hides behind trees as he is watching Sarah walk through the woods. His eyes show he is a scary character.

Rachael – Dressed casual as if it was a normal day, then gets some devastating news which her ‘mother’ has been hiding, acts shocked and disappointed when she finds out.

Mother – The ‘mother’ of Rachael has chosen to tell her adopted daughter that she is not her real daughter, this is a brave decision and you can see the how nervous she is about telling her daughter this.

Storylines:

Storyline one: Cheating:Archie is cheating on his girlfriend Bella with a girl named Sambuca, he then gets a text from Sambuca in the middle of the night when he is asleep with Bella, telling him that she is pregnant and that it is his child, however he doesn’t want Bella to find out but eventually is caught with Sambuca, leaving Bella devastated.

Storyline two: Kidnap/murder:A vulnerable girl has taken a short cut to get to her friends house through the woods, however the short-cut doesn’t pay off as she realises she is being watched by a man, she tries to get away however it is too late.

Storyline three: ‘I’m not your mother’:A girl and her mother are sat down watching TV; however there is something which her mother has not told her. Her mother eventually plucks up the courage to tell her that she is not her real mother and the girl is very disappointed.
