Institutions Logo – This is the name of the institutions involved with the movie for example: Universal Studios, Lions Gate, Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox. We added our logo near the begging of the trailer, our logo like many contemporary production company logos is animated. The colours and style of our logo also reflect the horror genre.

Builds In Pace – When trailers start they usually start of slow then it builds by showing action packed moments of the film or maybe people being chased if it were a horror movie. We challenged this convention within our own trailer as we started with fast cuts of the protagonist trying to turn her torch on. We also used pauses within the video to create suspense and the ‘on the edge of your seat feel’. The build up of pase can be seen within trailer for ‘The conjouring’ and ‘The forrest’

These are images showing the comparison of our trailer and the conjuring. Near the begging of the trailers there is a happy aura.

Release Date – This is the date when the film will be released to the public. They do this to reel the audience in to the movie so it will make them watch it and it appeals to them. This can be seen at the end of our trailer, as well as adding the date we also added social media platform logos. This is to indicate to audience members that more information can be found on the movies social media. This also appeals to my target audience as they are known for being the generation who consume web 2.0 and social media platforms.
