THE BOARD’S CORNER:
“CHANGE HAPPENS” and it
has HAPPENED on the
CHAMBER BOARD.
By vote of the “Board” I , Alice
Amantea became the President. “I pre-
fer to be known as the Board’s spokes-
person”. By the vote Mitch Clouse be-
came the vice-president.
The board is developing ways to be
of better service to you.
1. The 1st change is this column will be
the Board’s Corner. Each month a
board member will write about his/
her business and any event planned. 2. Secondly, at the mixers, when you
sign in please state either you are a
member, renewing member and /or
a guest. 3. Thirdly, all of you will be recognized.
4. Bring your “calling cards”. It is impor-
tant that your business be recog-
nized. 5. If you can donate a raffle prize
“great”. If the time to donate is not
right for you-that’s o.k. When you
can, we’d appreciate it. LASTLY, please call me at 989-0204
any time with any concerns you have;
also, call with any ideas ect.

policy for local businesses, provide valuable membership
services and be a strategic partner in initiatives that improve the
quality of life in Orangevale.
The Learning Patch and The Bounce Patch Mixer At the February mixer if you were a big kid at heart, then you were at the
right place at the right time. The jumpy houses and huge boxing gloves were
more fun for all that attended and for those that came with an appetite were more
than satisfied by the abundance of food. The Leaning patch has qualified experi-
enced teacher, a loving atmosphere, weekly theme , before/after school programs
and most of all it is a fun place as well as a safe place for kids. The Learning
Patch accommodates kids ages from two to preschool. Not only is it a pre-
school, but it is the Bounce Patch Kids Parties. They offer party rooms, game
room, pizza, paper goods and clean up, and they provide rental space. Call and
book your party today!
If you would like more information about The Learning Patch feel free to
check out their website at WWW.learningpatchpreschool.com or for the Bounce
Patch Kids Party www.bouncepatch.com They are located at 6035 Main Ave in
Orangevale . If you just want to give them a call you can contact Diane at 988-
5590 for the Learning Patch and 370-5779 for Megan at the Bounce Patch Kids
Parties. A special Thank you to Megan and Diane for hosting the event.
The Orangevale Chamber really appreciate all who come and support these
mixers. We especially like to thank these businesses that donated the raffle prizes
for the mixer: Bradley Jones Hill Insurance , Cheryl Lee, Bob Clouse Insurance,
The Flower shop, California Fitness, Lisa Montes, Dr. James and Sherrie

The Ambassador’s Corner! Chris Brown is our March “Ambassador of the Month”. Chris is a representative of Digital Office Solutions and presented at one of our infamous chamber breakfasts. What a presentation!!!!!! He was approached to be an Ambassador for the chamber (the ones behind the scenes and on the phones). He had an inquir-ing mind and asked many questions just as he does of his clients and potential clients. He was quickly on board!!! He got it. He knows “You can have everything you want in life, if you will just help enough other
people get what they want”, Quoted by Zig Ziglar. Chris Brown is true blue, what you see is what you get and he is there for you If you are looking for a way to help in the community, consider being an Orangevale Chamber Ambassador. We could always use your help. Please contact the office at 988-0175
