'The Music Biz' has a single stranded narrative structure as the documentary only has one story line of which is Meat Loaf.

It has a closed narrative structure as the audience are likely to have no unanswered questions.

It has a non-linear storyline as the order of the narration isn't told in complete order.

Camera Work

Still images are used along with zooms and pans, this is done to emphasise images.A low angle is used when filming Meat Loafs music video, this represents him as being a powerful influence.Close up's of Meat Loafs appearance are used to highlight his dramatic image. Close up's of marketing plans are also used to give a insight towards what they're doing.

A hand held camera is used to make the audience feel like they are there observing the actual events.The conventional filming of interviews shows the interviewees to be either on the left-hand side or the right-hand side, which was alternated in a medium close up.

Chromakey is used frequently throughout the documentary for interviews. All the backgrounds are kept relevant to the topic that is being addressed.The dramatic clothing of Meat Loaf shows connotations of rock and show a contrast to the actual lifestyle appearances.The busy shots highlight the stressful lifestyle of a celebrity.

At the beginning it shows the diegetic sound of fans screaming highlights the fame and popularity.The voice over throughout of a standard English male holds the narrative together, keeping the given opinions slightly sarcastic.The background track was relevant to what they were talking about and tense music builds up tension towards the music chart results.
