The 24X sensors were used on the LS1, LS6, and the earlier versions of the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 truckmotors. The 58X crank trigger started to appear in 2005 with the LS2 and LS7. Engines with the24X crank trigger have the crankshaft position sensor near the bellhousing, while the 58X setup putthe sensor on the front of the engine. These settings and wiring diagrams apply to the 24X cranktrigger.

Some of the engines used drive by wire throttle bodies, which the MS3-Pro currently does notsupport. However, cable operated throttle bodies for these engines are readily available. Camaros,Firebirds, and early trucks offer junkyard options, while there are many high flow versions availablefor the aftermarket. These diagrams use the factory TPS and IAC valve connectors.

Settings to use:

• Spark mode: LS1

• Trigger angle: Start with 0, adjust as needed.

• Ignition input capture: Rising Edge

• Spark output: Going High

• Number of coils: Coil on plug

• Cam input: CMP

• Dwell type: Standard dwell

• Nominal dwell: 3.8 for stock coils

• Spark duration: 1.0
