TASKWorking in a small group you are going to create themost fantasticplaceforyoutolive!Yourplacecanbeacityoranisland,whicheveryouprefer.PROCESSYouhavetopresentthedesignofalargemapofyourplace(itcanbeacityoranisland).Also,youhavetocreateanitinerarybasedonyouridealplaceasavisitingtour,inordertoshowittotherestofthegroupsinclass.
If you decide to create a city, you will have to draw some wideavenues, long and short streets with buildings, such as houses,hospitals, schools, supermarkets, chemists, shops, cinemas, theatres,banks,museums, churches, sport centres, parks and gardens, leisurecentres,andalltypeofbuildingsandthingsthatyouareabletodesign.
Ifyoudecidetocreateanisland,youwillhavetodrawgeographicalfeatures, such as mountains, waterfalls, lakes, valleys, forests,meadows,rivers,pathsandalltypeofcharacteristicsthatyouareabletodesign.
Youhavetodesignabrochureasifitwasatouristguidetoencouragepeople tovisityour idealplace.Eachmemberof thegroupwillmakeanoralpresentationofthedifferentcharacteristicsofthisplace.

• Talkanddecideaboutyouridealplacetolivein.Willitbeacityoranisland?
• Decidetheitemsandcharacteristicsofyourplace:
o Howmanyofthem(between15‐20)?
o Whatwilltheybelike?
o Inventorchangetwooftheusualcharacteristicsthatwillbeinyourcityorisland.Thesetwoitemsmustbedifferentanduncommonfromwhatweknow
• On awhite pagewrite a list of the names and numbers of thedifferent buildings, avenues, streets, gardens, parks, transport,andsoonforyourcity.Ifyouchooseanisland,writealistofthegeographicalcharacteristicslikemountains,rivers,lakes,valleys,meadows…
• Rememberthatinbothcasesyouhavetoinventorchangetwoofthetypicalcharacteristics.
