Allah states in His glorious Book: And those who believe have intense love for Allah (2:165) Allah states an attribute of the believers that they are extreme in their love for Him. The heart is always in search for love, either with the Creator or with creation, but today, love for the world has overpowered our hearts and we have increasingly become distant from our Lord. In order to address this growing concern among the Ummah, Al-Aa-izah introduced a 16 week short course "To Know Them Is To Love Them ", with the objective of sharing with the course participants the glorious attributes of Allah and Rasool Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص, because the more we know them, the stronger will be our love for them. The course consisted of two modules 1. The Beautiful 99 Names Of Allah based on Imam Ghazali R.A’s book by the same name. "And the most Beautiful Names belong to Allah, so call on Him by them..." (Quran 7:180)Narrated Abu Hurairah R.A.: Prophet Mohammad said, "Allah has 99 names i.e hundred excepting ملسو هيلع هللا ىلصone, he who enumerates them would get into Para-dise". 2. Shamail of Prophet Muhammad ملسو هيلع هللا ىلصA study of Imam Tirmidhi R.A’s “Shamail-e-Tir-midhi”, a timeless compilation of hadiths on the physical attributes, habits and personality of the Prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص.

Prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said: 'I am a Za'im - and the Za'im is the guarantor - for the one who believes in me and accepts Islam, and emigrates: A house on the outskirts of Paradise and a house in the middle of Paradise. And I am a guarantor, for the one who believes in me and accepts Islam, and strives in the cause of Allah: A house on the outskirts of Paradise and a house in the middle of Paradise and a house in the highest chambers of Paradise. Whoever does that and seeks good-ness wherever it is, and avoids evil wherever it is, may die wherever he wants to die.'" Sunan An-Nisai 3133

In the present time of fitan, trials and tribulations for Muslims across the world, this course is an eye-opener as it covers the unique discourse on prophetic guidance about signs of the last hour that were revealed more than fourteen centuries ago, and how to prepare for it.

Presented by Al-Aaizah Hadith Circle, this program is based on Imam Tirmidhi's (R.A.) Book of Trials in his famous collection of hadith, Al-Jame Al-Tirmidhi. This course is ongoing currently till April 2016 and registra-tions continue to be open.

“We tell you the best of stories in revealing this Qur’an to you, Before this, you were one of those who knew nothing about them.” — (Quran, 12:3) The glorious Qur’an calls Surah Yusuf the best of stories, Ahsanul Qasas, which is apt because this surah is replete for life lessons that are important for everyone at every age. This course, presented by the Al-Aaizah Quran Halaqah, explored different aspects of this beautiful surah that encompass-es the life of Hazrat Yusuf A.S., the lessons of struggle, strength, exemplary attributes and miracles that are contained in this sacred narrative and the serenity that envelops its recitation. This course is ongoing currently till April 2016 and registrations continue to be open.

The Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said: If anyone recites the Qur'an and acts according to its content, on the Day of Judgement his parents will be given to wear a crown whose light is better than the light of the sun in the dwellings of this world if it were among you. So what do you think of him who acts according to this" Sunan Abi Dawud 1453.Children are truly a blessing of Allah SWT. They are our future and we can make them a source of attaining Jannah (in'sha'Allah) or a source of leading to Hellfire (may Allah SWT protect us all). As Muslims we are responsible to develop our children into people of imaan and instill in them the core values of the Shariah. In this regard, the madrasah plays a key role where our children learn the funda-mental principles of Islam that enable them to lead the life of a practicing Muslim.Keeping this principle in mind, Al-Aaizah offered the weekend course, Crowning Glory, for girls aged 6 to 14, from August to November 2015, where they were taught Quran Nazra and Hifz, Hadith, Tareekh (Basic History of Islam), Fiqh, Adaab wal Aquaid (Islamic etiquettes and beliefs) and Arabic Language using interactive technology.

Al-Aaizah Girls and Kids League programs are made possible by the Al-Aaizah Star Volunteers, a team of dynamic young girls and women who help to design, structure and execute these programs. The volunteers earn benefit in their deen and akhirah by contributing in efforts of sadqa-e-jariya, and they benefit in their dunya by developing their skills of leadership, planning, communication and management. Hence, for the greater good of the community, we warmly welcome girls and young women to volunteer in

different projects of the Girls and Kids Leagues.

This activity based camp was aimed at teaching quranic tafseer to young girls from selected surahs along with a craftwork class that would reinforce and help in remembering what they learned during the tafseer session. At the end of the camp, the girls compiled all their projects to make a portfolio that was taken home along with beautiful memories and new friendships they made.

This program aimed to teach girls what steps to take to turn over a new leaf and shape their life in the light of Quran and Sunnah by cleansing the heart of negative feelings. Fun artwork and craft kept the girls engaged and they all took home their craftwork in intricate portfolios, and beautiful hand-made frames to remind them of the important lessons of life they learnt in the program.

In these days of trials, when non-Islamic culture and anti-Muslim sentiment is wide-spread, we need to make sure that we teach our daughters values that will help them combat anything that can create doubts in their minds, to help them grow up as an inde-pendent, confident, and strong Muslimah. "You only live once” is a phrase that every young person knows! They want to try out new things and push limits to make sure they have lived to the fullest!

We need to teach your daughters that when faced with a situation where their friends want them to join in, be it to get a piercing, bunk a class, and saying ‘no’ will make them look like a coward, then saying NO is a far braver answer than saying YES. Girls should have the wisdom to listen to the voice within and to have the courage to say it out loud. Indeed we live only once, and we need to make every minute count so that we can make it to Paradise! All this is what led to the establishment of Al-Aaizah Girls League which offers many, many engaging programs for teens throughout the year.

Al-Aaah Kids League

Allah the Almighty has blessed us with numerous gifts and the greatest gift is of being a Muslim. Therefore it is our duty to be thankful and fulfil all the obligations He has laid down for us. The first and most crucial obligation on us is to acquire knowledge so we can be His obedient servant and secondly, to practice and preach this knowledge. Our closest relations are our foremost responsibility. As the aforementioned Hadith states that a righteous child will be a source of ease in darkness and depths of the grave, It is highly important that we guard our precious gift of Iman and of those who are dependent on us and nurture the love and knowledge of deen in young minds so they become fruit bearing trees for future generations.

This camp was about stories of some Prophets of Islam i.e. Adam (AS), Nooh (AS), Ibrahim(AS), Moosa(AS), Younus AS and Prophet Muhammad ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص. This session was created to tell children true and real stories to counter the fairy tales which they are generally exposed to.

This program was designed so the children know the importance of five duties a Muslim is obliged to perform. To instill the habit of offer-ing Salah, children were given a prayer log and children with were given prizes and gifts for their efforts.

This session gave an overview to children about Prophet Muhammad life from birth to prophethood, Makkah to Medina, from ملسو هيلع هللا ىلصpre-prophethood time to the last sermon. The ups and downs, the struggles, the hardships he faced and eventually the victory of Makkah. The children were told about the strong values and princi-ples of Prophet ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص and Sahaba (RA) and how they faithfully followed Allah’s commands and became the light of change which brightened the land of Arabia and beyond.

The camps are an spectacular success and we have had more number of students enrolling in every new session than the previous one. The feedback received from parents is simply overwhelming and encour-ages us to strive more and come up with new ideas. Our mission is to spread the light of knowledge and conduct such educational programs so the future generations will become the torch-bearers of Islamic values and play an effective role in the world.

The pace at which technology has moved forward today has made it very easy for children to go down the path of destruction. The challenges of modern times and exposures children have today can leave damaging impacts on their naïve minds. Hence it is necessary to have avenues to save them from moral and spiritual degeneration and bring them closer to light of Islam, be aware of the Creator, His creation, His blessings and the code of conduct which He has designed for us and the rewards in store. It was this thought process that led Team Al-Aaizah to set the ground work for the Al-Aaizah Children's League and design interactive camps for children free of cost during the summer and winter vacations. The programs are engag-ing, interactive with use of multimedia and best of all, activity based. These activities are compiled in colorfully decorated lap books made by the kids which they take home on the last day as a memoir for them to keep and cherish.

Abdullah bin Abi Qatâdah R.A. narrated that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said: ‘The best things that a man can leave behind are three: A

righteous son who will pray for him, ongoing charity whose reward will reach him, and knowledge which is acted upon after his death.’"
