The Heart consists of two artia, two ventricles, four valves, four pulmanary viens and arties, two vena cavas and the aorta

Structure

The heart is in the shape of an oblong circle and the sterotypical shape of the heart.

Function

The primary function of the heart is to provide the body with necessary blood. The heart is really just a muscle, controlled by the autonomic nervous system, that endlessly expands and contracts to push blood around the body.

Heart Attack

Excess fat and/or cholesterol and/or white blood cells can build up in coronary arteries and create a blokage. Heart attacks can be caused by many things from excessive alcohol consumption to obesity. There is no immediate cure for a heart attack except to seek immediate medical attention.

Stendhal syndrome is basically an extreme form of extasy. It happens when one is exposed to an art form and filled with some much excitment that things like dizziness, racing heart and even heart attacks can ensue.
