This is a fantastic opportunity to train on professional facilities, have some fun and learn from some of the best in equestrian sport. Two days riding followed by three days clinic, then an unofficial competition with a party and band

afterwards. You can come to ride or watch, for one day or more.

CAMPING & LIMITED ACCOMMODATION IS AVAILABLE

Jan 4th DAY ONE—The Ranges Ride has ample trails to explore 1,000’s of acres of the

Wellsford Forest. They lead up over the Sugarloaf Ranges which has

amazing views and abundant wildlife, down gully’s and through scenic valleys .

We will take a picnic lunch. Riding skills will be assessed and schooling tips given.

 

DAY ONE & TWO

Jan 5th DAY TWO—The River Ride is an easy 8km ride with lovely sandy roads (only two main roads to cross)Lunch is provided at the river where you can paddle or swim in the glorious Campaspe River, sun bake on the sandy beach or explore the islands, billabongs and 500 year old gum trees. An amazing day out to forget about the world and play with your horse. Riding skills will be assessed and schooling tips given.

 Jan 6th DAY THREE— Eventing Clinic

• two lessons per day – either an individual dressage lesson with a jumping lesson or two jumping lessons (either Cross Country or Show Jumping)

• a guest speaker.• listen and watch the others.

 Jan 7th DAY FOUR— Eventing Clinic • two lessons per day –

either an individual dressage lesson with a jumping lesson or two jumping lessons (either Cross Country or Show Jumping)

 Jan 8th DAY FIVE— Eventing Clinic

• two lessons per day – either an individual dressage lesson with a jumping lesson or two jumping lessons (either Cross Country or Show Jumping)

DAY THREE, FOUR & FIVE

Jan 9th DAY SIX— unofficial CDT competition with judges to

give you feedback on how you have progressed during the week.

 

SATURDAY NIGHT—Party, meal and band at the Goornong Pub. All welcome. It’s Vanessa’s birthday!

Jan 10th DAY SEVEN— SUNDAY we are going to relax by the river

and play with or without horses.

The Equine Sports Breeding & Training Centre has some accommodation available as well as stables and yards for your horses. The facilities are excellent and were used for the 2010 Pony Club

State Championships.These are also limited, so please make sure you don’t miss out.

The property ‘Gold Fields’ is home of the Equine Sports Breeding & Training Centre Pty Ltd, which hosts the Gold Fields Equestrian Club Inc. I, ________________________________________, understand, acknowledge and accept that horse sports and stud activities are dangerous and that horses can act in sudden and unpredictable ways, especially around breeding times or if frightened or hurt.

These activities pose significant risks that may result in serious INJURY or DEATH. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Gold Fields Equestrian Club Inc and/or the Directors of the Equine Sports Breeding & Training Centre. I voluntarily PARTICIPATE at my OWN RISK and assume sole responsibility for any injury, death or property damage I may suffer or cause that may arise from my participation in the activities organised by either entities.

I also understand and acknowledge the additional dangers associated with the consumption of alcohol or any mind altering drugs before and during the activity and I take full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage associated with their consumption.  I agree to follow the directions of any event organiser or official and that any wilful or unorganised pursuit, misconduct or refusal by me to follow any direction of an organiser or official can result in the CANCELLATION of my participation in the event and my immediate removal from my horse NO MATTER where that may occur. I understand that any such non-compliance may result in injury, death and/or permanent disability and I agree to indemnify the organisers against all claims made by any person as a result of my failure to comply.

I agree to wear an approved helmet, suitable clothing and footwear at all times whilst participating in activities and agree that I am solely responsible for ensuring that my saddlery, gear & equipment is safe, well kept and in good order. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless and agree not to sue the Equine Sports Breeding & Training Centre Pty Ltd or the Gold Fields Equestrian Club Inc, any event organiser, their officers, officials, volunteers, coaches, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, state bodies, affiliated clubs and if applicable, owners and lessors of the premises used to conduct the activities with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property, whether caused by the negligence of them or otherwise.

I understand that outbreaks of endemic or exotic diseases such as Equine Influenza are possible and that Government authorities may quarantine, restrict or prevent the movement of horses, vehicles, equipment and personnel for a period of time. I acknowledge and agree that such action is in everyone’s best interests and shall comply with all directions given from organisers and officials and shall pay for any additional costs incurred as a result of such an incident.

Effect of this DocumentI have had sufficient opportunity to read this release of liability and assumption of risk agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without inducement of any kind.I understand that my signature to this document constitutes a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the entities and their associated parties in the greatest extent allowed by law in the event of me and/or the children under my care, suffering injury or death.
